Federal Skilled Worker Program

The Federal Skilled Worker Program (also known as the Federal Skilled Worker Class) is the primary pathway of three Federal Economic Immigration Pathways. To pursue the permanent residency process, a candidate needs to make a formal “Express of Interest” to settle in Canada by creating an online Express Entry profile. Based on the information provided by the candidate in their profile, Federal Skilled Workers candidates obtain a score under Express Entry’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) that determines their ranking in the pool for eligible candidates. Federal Skilled Trades Program

Foreign nationals with experience in skilled trade looking to immigrate to Canada under the Federal Skilled Trade Program pursue their permanent residency process by making an expression of interest through the Express Entry selection system. Under this program, the individual must have a valid job offer or a certificate of qualification to obtain permanent residence in any Canadian province or territory other than Quebec. Canadian Experience Class

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is one of the pathways of the Federal Economic Immigration program in which Temporary Foreign Workers of Canada having at least one year of Canadian work experience can apply for Permanent Residency in Canada. CEC is also a part of Canada’s Express Entry immigration system.
