Express Entry Profile

New Brunswick Express Entry Labour Market Stream is aligned with the Express Entry system of Canada. To be considered for the NBPNP Express Entry Labour Market Stream, the applicant must have an active Express Entry Profile. The applicant must meet all the eligibility requirements of the Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) program.

Connection to Province

The candidate must be living and working in New Brunswick to be eligible for NBPNP Express Entry Labour Market Stream.

Job Offer

To be eligible for New Brunswick Express Entry Labour Market Stream, the candidate must have a letter of employment which will be included in EOI.

Language Proficiency

The candidate must have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 in English or French to demonstrate their language proficiency.

Level of Education

Candidates must have at least the equivalent of a Canadian high school diploma.

Work Experience

Candidates must have at least one year of full-time, continuous work experience in a position as National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skill Level 0, A, or B. The NOC code will be included in EOI.

Age

The candidate must be between 22 and 55 years old on the day of application is accepted.

Application Procedure

The NBPNP Express Entry Labour Market Stream is using an Express of Interest (EOI) system to select the candidate. The eligible candidate’s fist creates an online Express Entry profile and then submit an EOI to NBPNP via email. The NBPNP sometime pauses accepting the new EOI and also does not publish about the accepting of new EOI’s like other provinces. When the NBPNP receive the EOI they review and invite eligible and applicants to submit their complete application for provincial nomination. On occasion, the province of New Brunswick invites candidates directly from the Federal Express Entry pool either they have submitted an EOI or not. They will be selected on the basis of eligibility of stream and labor market needs of New Brunswick. The candidates those are selected directly from the Express Entry pool will receive a Letter of Interest from New Brunswick in their Express Entry account.

The applicants will be selected on the basis of the highest ranking in the New Brunswick Express Entry Labour Market Stream Selection Factors. The invited applicants will need to submit a complete application within 60 days for provincial nomination after receiving the invitation with the stream application fee of $250 CAD per applicant. The successful applicant will have 30 days to accept provincial nomination after receiving a nomination from New Brunswick.

After accepting the provincial nomination from New Brunswick, the applicant’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of Express Entry will increase by 600 points which will virtually guarantee that they will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence in the next Express Entry draw.

After receiving an ITA, the applicant must prepare and submit an official application for Canadian permanent residence within the designated timeframe. Applications for permanent residence submitted through Express Entry are generally processed within six months.
